On September 7, 2024, the Rotary Club of Batticaloa Heritage (RCBH) carried out a meaningful initiative under its Livelihood Project, donating a total of LKR 210,000 to support three small-scale business holders. Each recipient received LKR 80,000, enabling them to strengthen their enterprises and improve their income opportunities.

This project was made possible through the generous contribution of the Australian Tamil Engineers Community, whose partnership reflects the power of global collaboration in uplifting local communities.

By supporting small business owners, RCBH continues to make a tangible difference in the lives of those in need, fostering economic resilience and empowering families to build sustainable livelihoods.
