The Rotary Club of Batticaloa Heritage was proudly chartered on the 25th of November 2014 with an initial membership of 15 dedicated residents of Batticaloa. The founding members represented a diverse cross-section of the community, including professionals, entrepreneurs, and civic leaders, reflecting the spirit and cultural richness of the region. 

Since its inception, our club has worked tirelessly to embody Rotary’s global motto: “Service Above Self.” We are committed to promoting peace, supporting education, improving health, advancing economic development, and protecting the environment—both locally and in partnership with the broader Rotary network.
